Eliminates Manual Pumping and Saves Your Arms

This battery-powered pump attachment has been a great addition to our sprayer setup. We have a small 5.5-acre microfarm, and my husband specifically wanted this because manually pumping a sprayer for extended periods gets tiring very quickly.Installation was simple, and it attached easily to our stainless steel canister sprayer. Once connected, it worked exactly as expected. The battery lasts a long time, maintains consistent pressure, and eliminates the constant pumping required with a manual setup. One thing to keep in mind is that this attachment is designed specifically for B&G stainless steel canister sprayers and is intended for 1- and 2-gallon models. It may fit other sprayers, but I can’t personally speak to that. The only tradeoff is that it adds a little weight to the sprayer. It’s not excessive, but if you’re carrying it for long periods, the additional weight is noticeable. That said, for anyone with shoulder, arm, or hand issues, eliminating the repetitive pumping is well worth it.The unit feels durable and well made, and so far it has performed flawlessly. If you’re tired of manually pumping your sprayer, this attachment is a huge convenience and well worth considering.

Tight spray control and consistent performance

Use case: FlowMate to B&G 2 Gallon.I was able to mount the FlowMate to my B&G 2-gallon canister with no fitting issues; it fit very tightly and felt very secure in my hand. It activated the pump motor smoothly, and I had no issues switching between powered and manual pumping.I used it indoors for applying product to baseboards and corners where I needed high precision. The constant pressure maintained a very tight and controllable spray pattern for the entire session. The motor provided constant output without the feeling of fatigue that typically occurs from manually pumping for extended amounts of time. The battery charge lasted for an entire 2-gallon tank, and the additional weight was negligible when working around the trims and ceiling lines up above my head. One thing to note: the motor is somewhat noisy while running and may be distracting in low-noise areas, but it will not affect the performance at all.

Good upgrade for compatible B and G sprayers

I picked this up because hand pumping a canister sprayer gets annoying during larger jobs. This battery powered attachment makes spraying more consistent and saves effort. It is made for B and G stainless steel canister sprayers, so compatibility matters before buying. The automatic pressure makes the sprayer feel more modern and easier to use. It is especially useful for pest control, lawn work, and repeated spraying tasks. Setup is straightforward once attached to the right sprayer. I like that it upgrades an existing canister instead of replacing the whole thing. For compatible sprayers, it is a nice improvement.

FlowZone FlowMate Battery‑Powered Pump Attachment — A True Game Changer

The media could not be loaded.

Last Spring we invested heavily — financially and physically — in our landscaping. Then January arrived, and with it, rotator cuff surgery. Recovery has been slower than I’d hoped, and using the manual pump on my B&G sprayer became nearly impossible.I tried to engineer my way around the problem using an air compressor and a plastic sprayer. It worked, technically, but constantly repressurizing the tank was a hassle. When I saw the FlowZone FlowMate Battery Powered Pump Attachment, I didn’t even know such a device existed. I was skeptical… and I’m happy to say I was wrong. After fully charging the battery, I followed the included installation manual — simple, clear, and easy to follow. To ensure airtight connections, I added Teflon tape to all threaded fittings. My first test run was confusing:-Pump powered on-I could hear and feel it working-But nothing sprayedI shut it down, checked every connection, tried again — still nothing. Frustrated, I disassembled everything and inspected each part. That’s when I noticed a small gray plug inside one of the fittings. The manual never mentioned it, but I removed it carefully, reassembled the system, and…Eureka — it sprayed perfectly. The FlowMate delivers a continuous, steady spray as long as the power is on. When you turn it off, the spray stops immediately. There’s no stored tank pressure, which surprised me at first, but it makes sense — the pump is doing all the work in real time.If needed, you can still bypass the unit and use the manual pump. For me, this has been a true game changer. No more stopping every few minutes to rebuild pressure by hand. The FlowMate maintains a consistent output automatically, which dramatically reduces arm fatigue — especially important when you’re recovering from shoulder surgery.Anyone who regularly treats gardens, foundations, or large indoor areas will notice the time savings immediately. The kit includes multiple battery‑charging adapters, making it compatible with various charger types. Definitely designed for DIY’ers and professionals alike. The FlowZone FlowMate turned a physically difficult task into something I can manage comfortably while recovering. It’s reliable, easy to install (once you remove that mystery plug), and delivers exactly what it promises: steady, effortless spraying.A smart investment for homeowners, landscapers, and anyone tired of pumping a sprayer by hand.Absolutely 5 stars from me.
